Meet Our Team
Dabney Lawless
Dabney brings over 20 years of public relations experience with start-ups as well as publicly traded companies. Dabney is known for her candid and honest feedback to clients, her results-focused approach to media relations, and her trusted counsel on strategic communications. She founded Lawless PR in 2012.
Dabney's previous experience was as the VP of Consumer and Lifestyle PR at Loomis Group and as the VP of Communications for the social network Nextdoor. She has a BA in Anthropology from Connecticut College and a Master of Communications from the University of Texas, Austin.
Kristen Marion
With 14 years of PR experience, Kristen has a unique perspective on media relations, creating thoughtful and fresh-thinking campaigns. Specializing in consumer and consumer tech client accounts, Kristen has had successful media placements in prestigious national outlets as diverse as Woman's World and Us Magazine, to the New York Times and TechCrunch. She also has a specialization in local-market media placements, allowing effective PR buzz on a micro-level.
Kristen has worked with Lawless PR for over 7 years and is a trusted PR professional by media and clients alike. Kristen double majored in PR and Advertising at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff.
Andrea Toch
With 15 years of experience in PR, Andrea is a media relations maven with proven expertise in securing top placements in broadcast, parenting, and consumer personal finance media at the local and national level. Andrea has worked on PR campaigns for various startups and large-scale companies, including Instacart, MyFitnessPal, Outschool, Mercari, Calm, KiwiCo, ModCloth, Care.com, Gazelle, Redbox, Experian, JustAnswer, Rise Gardens, and more.
A graduate of Arizona State University's renowned Walter Cronkite School of Journalism, Andrea formerly served as Vice President of a boutique PR firm in Phoenix.
